Abstract: 

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between moral intelligence and academic self-efficacy with the mediation of academic engagement of students in Mahabad city. The method of descriptive-survey research was of the correlation type and the statistical population was all 2831 secondary school female students of Mahabad city, of which 338 were selected by cluster sampling using Morgan's table. Data collection tools were standardized questionnaires of moral intelligence of Lenik and Hill (2005), academic self-efficacy of Jinks and Morgan (1999) and academic engagement of Fridix et al. (2006). The results of hypothesis testing were analyzed by spss and pls software and using correlation tests and structural equation MODELing. The results showed that moral intelligence has a positive and significant relationship on academic self-efficacy with the mediation of academic conflict (0.31). Also, the results indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between moral intelligence and academic self-efficacy components (0.52). The relationship between moral intelligence and academic engagement components was positive and significant (0.76) and finally, academic engagement has a positive and significant relationship with academic self-efficacy (0.41). Therefore, by increasing moral intelligence and consequently increasing academic engagement, it is possible to provide the basis for increasing academic self-efficacy in secondary school female students of Mahabad city.

Abstract: 

A plunging liquid jet is defined as a moving column of liquid passing through a gaseous headspace, air in our case, before impinging a free surface of receiving liquid pool. The mechanism of air entrainment due to plunging liquid jets is very complex and the complete mechanism of air entrainment is not fully understood so far. The present paper is an unsteady numerical simulation of air entrainment by water jet plunging, using the VOLUME Of FLUID ((VOF)) MODEL. The piece wise linear interface construction algorithm (PLIC) for interface tracking is used, to describe the phase distributions of entirely immiscible air and liquid phases. The aim of this work is to investigate the performance and accuracy of the (VOF) method in predicting the initial impact between the descending jet and water free surface, air entrainment and the developing flow region under free surface. Three scale MODELs based on geometric similarities (Froude number and dimensionless free jet length) are used for validation according to Chanson (2004) experience. The simulations show with accuracy, the air cavity formation steps, caused by the initial jet impact, its deep stretching under the pool free surface, until breakdown due to the shear created by a toroidal vortex. In terms of, air entrainment estimation, bubble dispersion and radial distribution of air VOLUME fraction, large-scale MODELs present a good agreement with the experience. However, for the smallest scale MODEL, the results lead to suggest that air entrainment is governed by more parameters than the geometric similarities.

Abstract: 

Curriculum as the backbone of the educational system is one of the important factors in creating fundamental changes in the higher education system; The purpose of this research is to explain the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education MODEL from the Islamic point of view and  the Leader, so that it can be used to examine the curriculum of architecture education in terms of the realization of entrepreneurship components in students. The method of the current research is a mixed exploratory one, which in the qualitative part, by examining the views of the Leader in his articles, books and speeches, descriptive propositions of his thought regarding the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education were extracted with the implication research method. In the quantitative part, the data was analyzed using structural equation method and using SPSS20 and smart PLS software. The findings showed that the MODEL of entrepreneurship from the Leader'spoint of view can be divided into four main pillars: vision, knowledge, skill and business. And each of these main pillars overlaps with the MODEL of effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in architecture curriculum. In this way, architecture higher education centers can, in addition to creating entrepreneurship curricula in the field of architecture, by identifying the potentials in the curricula of this field, strengthen the strengths and eliminate the weaknesses in them. This MODEL, while providing the conditions for the realization of entrepreneurship education in academic fields, provides the context for the implementation of a local MODEL in the light of Islamic orders.

Abstract: 

Objective: People who have higher social health can more successfully deal with the challenges and ups and downs of playing key social roles and participate more in collective activities and prevent social deviations and anomalies. In this regard, foresight and the development of a forward-looking strategy MODEL by the media can play an important role in promoting the social health of their audience (individuals).Method: This research has been done qualitatively and quantitatively. In the qualitative phase, content analysis and Q methods were used, and in the quantitative phase, factor analysis was used to analyze the Q method data.Results: The content analysis of the media in this study showed that the most media production in the field of social deviations with 576 cases and the lowest media production in the field of violence with 237 cases. The field of social quality with 485 and the field of social issues with 312 cases are in the second and third ranks. A small questionnaire was made and based on it, the desired MODEL was designed using PLS software. Conclusion: This MODEL showed that the function of media is effective in promoting social health of society and can have the greatest impact on improving quality of life, reducing violence, reducing social deviations and social issues.

Abstract: 

When a vertical liquid jet impinges on a horizontal solid surface, the liquid will spread radially on screen until at a particular radius the supercritical flow converts to subcritical flow and circular hydraulic jump phenomenon occurs. In present study, this phenomenon was simulated for first time by using Open FOAM software and modified (VOF) method. Validation of simulation results was performed with the experimental data and the Watson's modified theory and Bohr's approximate solution. The effect of mass flow rate and downstream height were compared in terms of quality and quantity for Newtonian FLUID (water) and non-Newtonian FLUID (Herschel-Bulkley). The results show that the jumps associated with the Herschel-Bulkley (HB) have smaller radius in compare to water and have low sensitive to changes in flow rate and downstream height. Variation of jump radius in HB FLUID decreases with increasing flow rate and downstream height.

Abstract: 

In this paper, a numerical MODEL for simulation of free surface FLUID flows is presented. This method is a combination of smart genetic algorithm and free surface FLUID flow tracking algorithm based on donor and acceptor elements. The specification of the new combinational method can be summarized in determining orientation vector and plane constant passing through free surface cells. The proposed algorithm can be easily used in non-uniform grids. This numerical MODEL has been applied to simulate some of benchmark flow problems and also compared with the experimental data and other researchers' results. The comparisons indicated that the described numerical MODEL is able to make accurate predictions, and is also simple to apply for many FLUID flow problems.

Abstract: 

Estimation of optimum fertilizer rates is needed because of growing economic and environmental concerns. Optimum fertilizer rates can be determined by fitting statistical MODELs to yield data collected from N fertilizer experiments. The main goal of this research was to compare and evaluate quadratic, square root, Mitscherlich, rectangular hyperbola, linear plus plateau and quadratic plus plateau MODELs for describing the response of sugar beet to N fertilizer. Data used were obtained from a furrow irrigation system experiment with five N fertilizer rates: zero (control), 60, 120, 180, and 240 N kgha-1 with three replications in Ekbatan Research Station, Hamedan, Iran, during 2003 and 2004. Economic optimum N fertilizer rates were obtained based on fertilizer and sugar beet price during 2003 and 2004. Economic, optimum N fertilizer rates varied depending on the fertilizer to crop price ratio and MODELs used. Results of this research showed the quadratic MODEL described the yield responses and economic, optimum N fertilizer rate in sugar beet cultivation better than the other MODELs. Economic, optimum N fertilizer rates due to this MODEL were 235.8 and 248.9 kgha-1 in 2001 and 2002, respectively. Economic optimum N fertilizer rates based on N fertilizer subsidy and non-subsidy prices were 234.7 and 225.1 kgha-1 for 2003 MODEL, and 247.9 and 240.8 kgha-1 for 2004 MODEL, respectively.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to design a MODEL to measure the general competencies of elementary school students with regard to regard to all domains education and to examine these competencies in elementary school students from the perspective of school principals and assistants. The present one is of the type of exploratory mixed research projects, and the researchers conducted have been collected using two qualitative methods (comparative analysis and interviews with experts) and quantitative methods (researcher's questionnaire based on the research MODEL). In the qualitative part, at first, using comparative content analysis with Meiring's method and based on the fundamental reform doc ument of Education and other high-level documents, 5 main were extracted and the text of the interview based on these elements and considering all domains education was provided to 8 primary education experts who were selected by purposeful and snowball sampling. The results of semi-structured interviews showed that the general competencies of primary school students had 8 common themes and 182 sub-themes. In the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire was created based on the research MODEL, and after validating it, it was given to 70 vice-principals and managers (out of 205 people) of schools in Bukan city in the academic year of 1402-1401, who were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method, it placed. Finally, the results of Friedman's test showed that the performance of students in spiritual and intrapersonal-ethical competencies is favorable, in learning competencies is weak and in psychological-physical and cultural-social competencies is very unfavorable.

Abstract: 

In the current study, two-phase flow of water and air over a stepped spillway is probed in the form of a two-dimensional incompressible viscous flow. A novel numerical approach is used for the numerical simulation which is a combination of two MODELs: VOLUME of FLUID ((VOF)) which uses an interface tracking algorithm for the simulation of the two-phase flow and two-FLUID MODEL which is based on time and space averaged equations and cannot track the interface explicitly. The most important issue in the introduced approach is to couple the two basic methods and select a proper criterion for status change between two basic methods. The latter criterion is based on an approximation from local distribution of the interface at each cell. In the hybrid method. In order to investigate the aeration effect in the stepped spillway, the air suction is generated by designing some holes at the upper edge of the steps and considering atmosphere pressure for these areas. The obtained results divulge the amount of dispersion is low at the beginning part of the step and also the hybrid MODEL take more advantages from (VOF), while in the lower steps where the flow disperses two-FLUID MODEL has hegemony. The results are compared in the form of pressure contours and streamlines as well as VOLUME fraction counters. The comparison shows that the results of the proposed method is closer to the experimental results with respect to each of the basic MODEL.

Abstract: 

A two-dimensional numerical MODEL has been developed to study wave breaking on a sloping beach. The basic elements of numerical MODEL are Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) equations that describe the mean flow motion of a turbulent flow; a k turbulence closure MODEL that describes the turbulent transport and dissipation process; an efficient technique ((VOF)- VOLUME Of FLUID method) for tracking the free surface motion; and a new scheme developed by Lin and Liu (1999) for wave generation. Shoaling, breaking and overturning of solitary wave on a slope of 1/16 have been studied with the main emphasis on turbulence characteristics. Turbulence characteristics i.e., turbulence kinetic energy, k; turbulence dissipation rate, ; turbulence production, pr; turbulence eddy viscosity, vt; and their spatial distribution during the breaking process have been discussed in great details. Spatial distribution of turbulence characteristics and the order of magnitude have been found to be in agreement with existing experimental and numerical studies. The main characteristic of plunging breaking waves, the shoreward advective transport of turbulence, has also been investigated and numerically proved.
